Welcome to Montana fly fishing
That 23" Brown trout was lazing on the bottom of the Madison River until Andy and Aaron and Darlene tempted his palate with a size 18 nymph. Andy took care of the rest of the operation, then released him before he tired.
The sun's been high, and so have ambient and water temps, so we've been starting days earlier than normal.
The results have been really good some days, so - so on others; on the whole our clients have headed home with satisfied grins on their faces.
The rest of the good news is that several of our clients caught Trout on their first flycasting experience! The Client Comments page has a gallery of recent photos.
We're still looking forward to a month of dry fly fishing before we dig into the box for the streamers, so there's time for you to plan a late season getaway.
